I have always known I would be a designer . In third grade, my teacher called my mom and said, “We need to do something about David. He is selling drawings to his classmates for their lunch money.”  I have passionately pursued art and design with the same vigor (and entrepreneurial spirit) I showed as a kid. Inspired by visionary artists ranging from Milton Glaser and Raymond Loewy to Brad Holland and N.C. Wyeth, I’m drawn to the intersection of illustration, brand development, digital design, and marketing.

As a designer, illustrator, and painter based in Austin, Texas , I’m fascinated by the role of design in everyday products and experiences and am energized by the rapid evolution of the digital design realm. In my current role as Digital Design Manager for Wondrium, I help conceive and steer the brand and marketing campaigns for this subscription based SVOD platform, blending design, user experience, and illustration. 

Whether motivating design teams or executing a company’s ambitious marketing, or working with clients to bring their concepts to life, I love the collective power of teamwork in driving the creative process. An accessible expert and encouraging leader, I’m committed to growing professionally by engaging new technologies and networking with designers to stay on top of industry trends.

Outside of design, I explore cooking as another art form; currently, I’m chasing the perfect Italian dish.
